That's a cool snake you got there. In fact, I don't remember seeing one that looks like yours. Thanks for the pics!

Re: 50% Diamond Zebra

very very nice indeed. it is amazing how the zebra gene plays with the diamond. at only 50% diamond, it looks like a pure diamond without the rosettes.

really cool, Delima....keep posting pics dude

Re: 50% Diamond Zebra

Wow that is insane. I love the head pattern. In the second picture you can see how easy it would be for it to just blend in to to surrounding. Love to see some more pictures.

Very busy pattern!

What is the common name of this type of snake?

it's a Carpet cross mate

mother = Pure Diamond Python

father = Pure Jungle Zebra

so that makes him a Diamond Zebra

there were only 2 out the whole 2013 clutch that had this pattern though...

since then the the pure Diamond female was bred to a Pure Diamond male in 2014,and she produced only pure Diamond looking hatchlings,proving out that it's not a new Diamond trait,but a result of the Zebra genetics in the 2013 breeding

cheers shaun
