Sounds like you're cruising now Derek. She's gonna grow fast! Enjoy!!

Re: How Much To Feed A Cal King

Thanks Ziggy. She's home now. Brought her home yesterday and she was puddy in my hands tonight.

Re: How Much To Feed A Cal King

She an eating machine! I was feeding her every Friday, and I just did a Friday/Tuesday and she ate the fuzzy on Tuesday like it was her last meal she was ever going to have. I'm not power feeding, but I can tell when she's hungry.

Tonight, just now she climbed to the top of the cage to hang out. She only did this when I first got her, first week or two. She's pretty shy, but can be handled without and problem. Wonder why she is spread out up top tonight?

Haha my milk does that. I've been trying to bulk him up so he'll be too big to do that but it's still pretty funny. It's like a snake trapeze act. Beautiful snake you have.

Re: How Much To Feed A Cal King

She does it because she can, lol. My corn did that right after I put some branches in for climbing (still too small to reach the tank rim w/out something to climb) but dropped back down when I blew on him/her to encourage moving along so I could open the top and change the water bowl. I haven't seen the bugger up there since then, though I don't know what goes on after I'm in bed.

Re: How Much To Feed A Cal King

I came home to my Calypso doing something like that and I freaked out thinking she was trying to escape, which was weird to me. She has been in a 5 gallon tank and never EVER tried to climb the sides or get to the top (while i was around anyway lol). So to see her shoved up there chillin was like l...what?! She has even more room than before O_o

I made sure to secure the back of the lid right away and will do the same to the front before I go to bed.

Also...pretty king you have!
