Couple of generic questions

Got my first King in today. What are y'alls heating/lighting recommendations and supplements if any while feeding, i.e. dusting?

No supplement needed.

Heating for colubrids depends on your location and ambient room temps. I see you're from Texas. Very little additional heating would be needed.

Re: Couple of generic questions

Congrats on the new addition Derek. Kings are great snakes. No need for supplements when feeding. I use a uth controlled by a thermostat to keep my hot side at 86-90 and my cool side stays in the mid 70's. I sometimes use a low wattage red heat bulb with a dimmer for night viewing and to boost my ambient temps in the winner.
