Axolotls Incoming!

I'm adding a pair of Axolotls to my growing collection of herps and inverts.
I have done a substantial amount of research,but a question I need to ask is if it is possible to keep them outdoors if they are out of direct sunlight. I already have a very large stock pond outside that has been empty for months. The temps here are 85-90 degrees outside in the afternoon and about 75 in the evening and night. Its summer all year round here.
