Got my T a while back and...

I finally got a tarantula about a month ago or so, a brazillian red and white striped, white striped red, etc. (I hate common names)
or, a Vitaliatus Cristatus, or Lasodoria Cristatus (now reclassified as LC..)

S/he is a captive bred s'ling, about an inch to and inch and a half legspan (spread out), and is a cute pinkish red colour, happily eating a cricket the size of its abdomen once every three days or so, adn is staying about 75-77F...

So, anyone else keep these guys? How big will they max out at? How long till adulthood? are they burrowing, terestrial, or aboreal? Sorry for all the basic questions, the 10 or so caresheets I found on them gave me the very barebones info, they jsut pretty much said Temps, temperment, humidity, colour, and name. Pretty sad caresheets :P

Thanks!
Dan Conner

They grow extremely fast. I have a male that is apx 4" and looks like it will mature in it's next shed. I'd hate to generalize but mine burrows, semi agressive, loves to eat (never refused), real active at night (climbs glass and all) and I keep him at 80F by day and 70-75F by night.

I hope this helps ya out i put a few diffrent links in here just incase one isnt what you have as yes there are many diffrent ones and alot of them are called diffrent things.. My giant white knees are the A.geniculata, they eat like major pigs , grow super fast and get very big.. i really like um.. some of my fav, T's.. As far as the brazilian red and white goes i had one it was mean would flick hairs readily and was not a burrower, was a total pig at feeding time grew real fast.. They dont get as big as the giant white knees, atleast the one i had didnt and alot of T's are diffrent from each other in that they all grow to diffrent sizes even though they are the same species, some just get bigger than others.
