fan or no fan?

I am making an incubator using a wine cooler, the inside dimensions are 21'' wide x 20'' deep x 30'' tall. I will be using 11'' flexwatt running down the back wall controlled by a thermostat. The incubator will be used for ball python eggs. Some people say a fan is absolutley necesary others say it isin't. What do you think? or use in your own incubators of this type , thanx.

For that sizes i say fan for sure.
