Free snake ID help

Ok long story short I purchased a white sided rat snake from an online vendor, and they sent the wrong snake. Kinda dumb in my book as the animal I purchased looks nothing like the snake they sent. Either way they apologized and I will be receiving the correct animal tomorrow morning. Bonus is, I keep the other snake, which is sweet! The small rat snake wasn't worth to ship back. But I'm not 100% what species it is. I was told a rusty rat, but as that's not a species, just a morph description, I'm hoping someone can inform me. Sorry the pics aren't better, but I was trying to take a few quick ones while I ushered it to its new home. He was very flighty but never hissed or struck.

I know it isn't a corn. It's hard to tell by the pic. I'll take better ones once it's settled in and eating.

Sort of looks like a Trans Pecos rat snake to me. Just a guess though since I've never owned that species.

It's very hard to tell by the pictures, but i think its an obsoleta... Maybe a obsoleta lindheimeri or a obsoleta obsoleta... better pictures would help though.
