help!!!

I have a female golden gecko. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what to look for if she is pregnant? which i think she is. It would be awesome if she is. and any info on how to raise the eggs and young would help.

You could probably hold her up with a light facing her back, and see the eggs in her belly. Pretty easy to tell with most species of gecko. If you don't want to pick her up, and shes really gravid, you might be able to see the outline of the eggs, and she will be noticeably chunkier.

Not sure on incubation time/temps/medium but if nobody here chimes in, check out geckosunlimited forums.

i think that some geckos will 'cycle' regardless of whether they have been bred, Ive noticed about 2x a year my leopard gecko will have large, pale 'egg shapes' just over her pelvis, even though she has not been with a male.
They go away after a few weeks.

What makes you think your golden is pregnant?

Just a note, I'm pretty sure they stick their eggs to the walls/branches, and if you try to peel them off to incubate, they will break. Ive read that you can attach a ketchup cup or similar over them (with ventilation) to protect them from being eaten by the mother.

Sorry I didn't clarify, I was thinking along the lines of gravid = carrying eggs. Starbuck is right in that she could be carrying infertiles.

She has a male mate golden gecko. haven't seen them do the dirty but I'm at work all day. She has gotten plump around her stomach area. and she isn't eating.
