Newest addition!
My boyfriend brought this little baby home tonight, not sure of it's gender since it is still far too small to tell. No name yet either, I wanted to name it Pippin because that works for both male and females but my boyfriend called dibs on naming this one and he doesn't like that name lol

Crested gecko I have a sub adult as well but he is much larger than this little cutie. I'm really hoping this one is a female.

They are really neat animals but can get stressed fairly easy so handling is kept to a minimum because they have a tendency to drop their tails and unlike other lizards they don't grow them back.. so I only handle them maybe once or twice a week for about 5 minutes which is hard because I love handling my animals. Luckily my Cali King is always ok with being handled, he is one of those weird snakes that actually comes to you when you get near his tank, not shy or scared of people at all.

yeah i read that theyre tails break super easy. and being the fact my fiance and i would like to start a family, i dont think something so fragile would do well with a crazy 2 year old running around. im thinking maybe a bearded dragon or a chinese water dragon.

Well all reptiles tend to not enjoy being played with or bothered but a crestie would definitely not be a good reptile for a young child to hold so you are right about that and I would suggest a bearded dragon forsure, they are built like little tanks and tend to be very tolerable of people.
