I have heard a few breeders in their youtube videos refer to them as the most intelligent snake period and many also believe they enjoy handling in some sort of way. I have only ever held a small young indigo but there is definitely a difference in the way they act. No fear of the handler and this one seemed to recognize the owner. There was a member here a while back had a beautiful indigo named Jack. His pics were always great. Unfortunately these are out of my price range in Canada.

Ugh thanks Mikoh. I keep taking this species off my list due to the possible paperwork and cost. But every time I see one, it goes back on the list. I found the permit and read through it to see what I'm up against if I can't find one local. Decided this will be a future acquisition, regardless of hoop jumping and arm/leg selling I'll have to do.
