Re: My snake escaped!!!
Try scenting a trail by rubbing a mouse or pinky or whatever and lead it up to that trap you said you made. But make a couple of trails from different areas of the room

Re: My snake escaped!!!
Sorry to hear this man! 3 things your guy is gonna seek out. 1)shelter 2) warmth 3)water. Not nessisarily in that order. I would follow the walls closest to his enclosure and see what's the closest "cover". A pile of laundry, a bed with stuff crammed underneath it, a backpack resting against the wall. Carefully removed everything. You don't want to be running around frantically ripping your place apart and find that he is injured because of you. He is most likely in the same room where his tank is.Good luck!

Re: My snake escaped!!!
Did you check under the water bowel? Your cage looks pretty secure.

Re: My snake escaped!!!
I'm with Primal Rage on this one. There was one time I thought I'd lost my Honduran when she was young. I looked "everywhere" in her tank. I finally decided to remove all the hides and water bowl only to find her coiled up under the water bowl. It seems that I had allowed a bit of substrate to get under one edge of the bowl when I'd changed the water, leaving just enough room for her to sneak in. She found it to be a very nice and secure hide. I'd empty the cage before I stayed up all night looking for her. Just a thought...

Re: My snake escaped!!!
When My Ball escaped I found him between my mattress and box spring.
But Im always doing head checks before I go to bed and agreed with you folks, they are usually coiled up under a hide or a dish, Im a worry wart.

Re: My snake escaped!!!
..+1 for:
Chances are he is in the same room that you keep him in.
Take a (human) heating blanket and crumple it up on the floor...turn it on right before bed.
If he is cruising around at night looking for a little heat he might be there in the morning.
Very stressful...for sure....but he can last for a long time without you as long as it's not too cold there.
(Fingers crossed)
