Welcome to the club. What stated out as a pair of Dums has grown into a collection of 10 different species of 36 snakes plus 3 that I'm currently fostering. It's such a rewarding addiction.

If there is a reptile "hoarder's" support group I would like to sign up my wife. She picked up a female Lesser BP last weekend and a male Butter BP yesterday. She wanted to get a baby Dumeril Boa as well. Luckily she realized we aren't set up for one. (I can't really complain as I enjoy the 10 snakes we have so far, but I won't tell her that. Or that I am working on getting a Hog Island for myself...Shhhh)

yeah, I started with a corn snake last winter...I just bought my 5th snake last night...hubby says no more for a long while...I got him hooked though, he wants a carpet python someday

Awesome. I bought my first Corn in September 2013 and I now have a Corn, Milk and Spotty and I want more, I cant wait for the Maryland Reptile show in December.

I mentioned the expo to my hubby a few weeks ago..I got a resounding NO...lol...he was actually more concerned about driving 4 hrs back with a snake (or 2 or 3) in this cold weather...

Hello and welcome.
I've been hit by the bug, too. lol Unfortunately, I can't indulge myself too much at the moment. At least not with my boa/python wishes. I could get another few garters, though. :P It's really tempting, but I want to hold out for another boa, a carpet python, or a retic. Especially since I'm already expecting a second garter in the spring (I can't stop checking in with the person giving him to me. ). Also, I want to wait until everything cools down at home.
I was going to go to a nearby December expo, but I had to spend the money I set aside to help buy CHE's and another thermostat instead.  I could still go, but I'd rather have the money on hand right now and because of some...recent issues...I probably wouldn't have a ride anyway.

Welcome! We areal addicts haha...I started with 1BP almost 3 years ago, now I have 11 ball pythons, 1 hognose and 1 corn.
