How long is ok without basking lights?

I need to re-do the inside of Toothless' enclosure, and am wondering how long he can safely go without basking? I need to remove the lights and re-organize the shelves which should take most of the day, but just incase something comes up before I get it all finished, I want to make sure I don't let him go too long without being able to bask.

Sometimes during rainy season, zero sunshine for days at a time.

Good to know. I figured a few days wouldn't hurt but just wanted to make sure. I'll just make sure not to feed him chicks or gerbils right before I do it.
