Big thanks!

Thank you from a newbie snake owner! Thanks to the advice here, I am continuing to use the paper instead of the fir repti-bark, have given clean water each day, got spaghnum and put wet pieces in the hide to increase, am getting a second hide, and will be feeding her in the cage.

Maleficent is doing much better. Way more activity, way more snaps and nips, and she's now starting to rub her nose and getting ready to shed. (It's a black racer. They are aggressively defensive, and it's good to see her bluffing and nipping again!)

Thanks, everyone, for offering good advice and quickly for helping her recover and then keeping her healthy! I'll have a picture up once she's done shedding and doesn't look like a wrinkly old man anymore!

I don't want to bug her while she's trying to get the skin off And she looks really pathetic!
