Re: Few pure Aussie snakes.

Actually come to think of it didnt some get sent over by a zoo to another zoo a while back.? If so i would imagine this is how they will soon be available to you guys.
Awesome animals, and a real pleasure to keep.
I love olives, they are very active pythons compared to the morelia spp.
Much the same as anteresia and aspidities. Always doing something.
I love womas for this reason, they will keep you amused for hours watching their antics.

Does this include the Spotted Python? A few days ago there was a thread on another forum about what sized enclosure to give an adult. People were saying that spotted pythons are shy snakes and don't do much except for hide. They said that small enclosures like 28qt tubs would be fine for them.

Mikoh4792,-

Spotteds would be the least active of the anteresia group for sure.
They would to be the most aboreal of them all.
Childrens and stimmies would be the most active they are much more terrestrial compared to spotteds. I have never kept pygmys so i cant comment on them.

Always seems to happen eventually, if people want something bad enough they will go to the ends of the earth to get it somehow.

Yeah, they've been here a few years and, they were brought in legally. You can go to the Cities website and see the paperwork. Olives, along with Roughies and Darwins.
