Day and Night temp difference requirements

Read a few things about dropping temps down at night for BCI's, anyone doing this or have any good reasons why it shouldn't be done? Switching all my thermostats to digital once my new plastic builds are done, so in the process of pricing everything up to see where I can save some pennies

If your breeding bci's I would recomend a night drop otherwise I don't feel it is necessary.
