Beauty snake id!

I just picked up this guy this weekend, he was sold to me as a Taiwanese beauty snake and I have now had 2 different people ask me if he is a hybrid tai x Vietnam. I have googled both pure and hybrids, but so many pictures are miss labeled. He is from a vendor who imports and buys out wholesale lots. I thought I'd ask here and see what you all think.

Taiwanese have been crossed with American rat snakes from what I've heard. Also I have read of interbreeding between these two and that natural integrades have occurred.
