New from New England

Hi, I'm new here. It's been hot lately and my bearded dragon and corn snake have loved going outside. I just lost my beautiful blue tongue skink to a resp. infection. I let the heat in his tank go down (mistake) this winter to 80. It gets brutal here. Corrected situation (150 red), got him to vet where he got aggressive dose of batryl and 2 topicals. They seemed to be working (got checked by vet twice more). Well, I thought he was healing slowly but last month took a fast turn for the worse. I had to see his decline and the day vet was able to take him, he passed away. I think he was wild caught too, because he acted it and refused most foods (spoon fed for 5.5 years). Been having just an awful time dealing with this. Anyone in the same boat? My beardie, corn snake, ferret and dog are all doing well. I'm here to ask questions and make sure I do the next right thing.
