I think you'd be quite happy with a female BCI. They don't get overly long, but they do get quite thick.

If you're dead set on an 8-10 foot boa, though, you'll want a female BCC or BCO. Keep in mind that they take a lot longer to attain maximum size than a BCI does.

After much thought an reading I have decided to go with one of these little girls. I will be meeting the breeder on Saturday morning.

Argentines aren't a "medium-sized" boa lol. My female's mom is nearly 11 feet and the dad is about 9 feet, and both are HEAVY. My female is only 3 years old and already almost 6 feet.
