I like how they look similar to corns minus the eyes, and they're both gorgeous!

glad they came alive and good to go

Re: Another great FedEx package arrived today!

They look to me like cornsnake/python hybrids. I really like this species for some reason, although I like the normal better than the albino :-P

I also had 2 great fedex packages arrive today, good day!

Wow, very pretty. I have never heard of these guys before, are they decently common?

You can find them on kingsnake pretty frequently last time I checked. Dunno bout the binos though.

Re: Another great FedEx package arrived today!

Semi common, the normals are generally super cheap, really cheaper than is fair I think. The morphs though can still be quite pricey. From all I've heard, they are hardy, very good beginner snakes for both keeping and breeding. No special requirements and the babies are generally supposed to be great mice eaters, taking F/T readily. They have a very strong feeding response and somewhat have a rep for being bitey but they are usually docile with handling, as long as they don't think you are food!

Re: Another great FedEx package arrived today!

Amy,

I'm glad they arrived safely!

I did not know that you were a member on this forum! I usually post pictures of my old world rat snakes here!

To answer a few other questions: I believe part of the reason they do not get the respect that they deserve is due to their reproduction (they are egg layers by the dozens in a year) so many people just try to get rid of them fast. Albinos are very hard to find at a good price! They take a minor bit of work to get on f/t but easily done!

ENJOY!

Very awesome acquisitions, and a very cool species to work with. I used to have a roomful of these myself.

Ah okay that's what I wanted to know. Do you know of anyone in Canada breeding them? Seems to be more difficult to find some here

Re: Another great FedEx package arrived today!

Eh yeah, didn't notice your location. There isn't anyone in Canada that I'm aware of.

Re: Another great FedEx package arrived today!

Got them out to feed them yesterday, so I snapped a few quick pictures. They both ate, always a great feeling with new snakes!
Still working on naming them ...
