freaky Spotted Pythons

I have a Cape York Spotted Python pair that has given me these reduced animals 2 years in a row.

The first year....I got this little female. You can clearly see she's different from the rest of the normal Cape York's. Those Orange eyes!!!!

Fast forward to this year...Bam!!!! Top left.

Here's hoping that it proves out to be some sort of reproducible trait! Odd's are good being that she threw them 2 years in a row.
She'll have next year off and hopefully meet up with the male in the last picture in 2015.

I'll get more pictures of him after he sheds out and such.

Unfortunately I lost the first female about 4 months after she hatched for unknown reason. Let's hope this male does better!

Re: freaky Spotted Pythons

Nice pics! Love these guys. I'm looking to pick up a pair of striped spotted pythons in a couple months. Right now I'm just working with Children's. I'd love to see updates as he grows!

Good luck with it mate... reminds me of the platinums we have here. Hopefully it's reproduceable.

Yeah children's are great animals as well. You'll like the spotteds....very similar in activity, etc to the children's. Neat animals and under appreciated.

Yeah, I thought that too. It does look similar. I hope it is reproducible too. Although, I don't think I would have gotten them out of 2 clutches if not.....never know though.

Re: freaky Spotted Pythons

I look forward to seeing what he grows into. I agree with red_ink that it reminds me of a platinum. Hard to determine what he'll look like as an adult while he's so young, though. Very cool!
