Looks good to me, Retic eyes come in so many variations, I have a friend who's Retic has one eye that's half silver half brown, and the other eye is red nd orange

Can he see the mouse on the side in question when your feeding? Does he strike accurately? Have you taken him to an eye doctor :P hahaha

The eyes don't have anything to do with it? I'm sure its sort of hard to prove as we know they are able to navigate / target using the heat pits, given that he does have healthy eyes, do they actually use them in hunting/striking. Seems sort of hard to proof the correlation for how they actually see and how registers in the brain, we can only speculate no ?

Science is an amazing thing...
Your SD's eyes look fine. its like the difference between two people's eyes, everyone is unique.

MR.MILLERTIME!!! LOL...It's Been A While Since We Spoke I've been away for a bit but thanks for the help and yea it is hard to tell bein they can use other techniques and senses to navigate and hunt! I just picked this little guy up so I'm gonna offer him a hopper this weekend and put it on each side and see if he becomes a little stalker...Thank you to everyone that helped out and replied! Re: Need Help With My SD Retics Eyes...Are They Normal?

He looks really good. I don't think its gonna affect his vision at all. I'm sure even if he is blind he'll be able to hunt just fine. A friend of mine has one snake that has one seriously deformed eye and can still strike and eat on that side.
Welcome back, I don't post much lately, I just pop in from time to time.
