Well in the thread list when you see the little ! in the grey box beside the thread name is means there are new posts in that thread, then on the far right is a grey square icon, click on it to go to the last post you read in the thread

Actually you can just click on the little ! button on the right and it takes you there!

Let me clarify. I like to use the View New Posts button at the top of the forums main page but when I reply to a topic, it takes me back to that particular thread. So then I need to go back to the main page and click View New Posts again.

It would just be a wee bit easier if this button was on the thread viewing page too. Get my drift? Another board I use has this feature and it's great. Just thought I'd ask.

Ironically, this other board doesn't have a Mark All Posts Read button on the View New Posts page. This one does.

mark all post is defualt install with vB I believe so I dont know why they would not have it but what you are talking about doing I beleive is a hack....
