I laughed at this picture so hard because the only words that popped into my head where you got me a CHEESBURGER!!! I know this snake is apparently pissed but it looks more of a expression of excitement to me what do you think. oh and i cant claim this awesome pic it is on a desktop set that runs on my PC

Beautiful animal. Doesn't appear too pissed or that he's opening for food. His fangs are still retracted. I wonder if it could be a yawn? lol

Regardless of what caused it, it's still a beautiful animal and a great shot! I think this one of the species of vipers that Willow keeps.

That's an eyelash viper (Bothriechis schlegelii) gape. They do that as a warning, and the fangs are usually retracted during this gape. If pressed, they will extend the fangs and strike.

I do keep these guys. I keep 3.2 and love each one of them!
