A few wild water monitors, Varanus salvator

I've been spending a fair bit of time in Singapore past few months and have managed to sneak away from work a couple of times to photograph some monitors in the wild. I'll start with photographs taken a couple of months ago.

Amazing photos. They don't seem too afraid of people, eh?

These were taken at a wildlife reserve, so most of the monitors, especially the huge ones, aren't particularly frightened of people. They'll often threaten to tail whip before moving out of the way.
