Missing snake..

One of my cornsnakes wandered off on Friday night as I was cleaning. We've got carpets everywhere so I can't find a trail in powder/flour. Not sure what to do to find him.. we've looked under every chair [found out there's two little holes he'd fit thru into the backs of them, but I don't want to cut my chairs/couch apart], looked under the stove and fridge, and checked the bathroom..

Any suggestions?

I have rats as pets, and raise some as feeders so the scent of rat would be everywhere [my 4 yr old plays all over the place with them] to a snake, but we don't smell it. Because of this I don't think leaving a rat pup in a container would work to lure him out.

I'm going crazy here. There is no way he could get out of our place unless he can climb straigt up walls to a height of over 7 feet to the vents in our bathroom.

No hole's anywhere's water pipe's is there a laundry hamper? towels on a shelf ? check the tank on the toilet(inside)lol is there a grate on the sink drain and the bath tub drain?
Its amazeing but they can fit in some pretty small hole,s
My cal king got out my stuffing her self through a 1/4" crack between the glass door and wall of her vivarium .(damn escape artists). And shes as big around as a quarter.

Have you checked up in the refrigerator where the motor is? Any other appliances that generate any heat at all? Hope you find your lil guy soon, and remember to never give up! Good luck :thumbsup:

Yup.. daily since he went missing..

Thanks, my mom is supposed to babysit for me on Friday and she's TERRIFIED of snakes so I'm desperate to find him before then.

i dont know what your bathroom is like but if you have the sink with the cupboards undreneath run you hand just under the cupboards where the recess to the kick board is most of the time there is at least one hole there or even a creavis that runs the whole width of the cupboards, this is wheere i found my ball python the hole was the size of a quarter. good luck!! and use patience OHH and look at the room where the tank is for any pictures or nick nacks that you have on tables, shelves, etc many times you can track them by the things they move in there travels.

I feel for you .. all I can suggest is KEEP seraching!

U will find them .. look everywhere .. even the places u know he can't get ..

MAybey even thrown some heat pads in the corners of the rooms and put blankets on top over night .. who knows .. that could work ..
