Feeding the Homo sapien

Caught two fish myself this weekend and five total, good meal for the average human.

Glad your fish were from somewhere else.

Ah.. yeah Stockton blows. We have a record homicide count this year....

But yeah I wouldn't fish out of the delta, that's just nasty.

Yep. That's just the homicide too, people don't realize how many shootings there are that aren't fatal. It was pretty much one gunshot victim a night when I was there, sometimes multiple.

Fish from the delta is one thing, fish from the delta near Stockton is another. Caught this guy in the delta a month ago. 30 pounds 40 inches.

Yeah in certain areas gun shots are a regular thing daily.

I meant from around Stockton, I've been out in the Delta in other areas and it looks 100x more beautiful then around my area. I even saw a seal leap out of the water when I went boating, pretty cool sight. Awesome fish though.

One of them, which you can see in the picture has a real brown/green color so I think it's a different fish but I can't remember the name my buddy told me. The rest were rainbow trout though. The lake is up by Ione, nice area.

Thanks! and yeah it was awesome. I didn't think I was going to catch anything and I came out with two. We're going to stay a weekend out there after Christmas which will be a lot of fun.
