Never mind the fact it's an endangered species and the $50,000 fine for messing with a wild one.

Personally, I wouldn't need the fine for me to leave it where I found it.

I'd have to agree, they're one of my favorites too. With the solid black body and the red-golden chins just makes them look soooooooo nice. Nice pics.

Glad to hear you left it where it belongs. Must be nice to encounter them in the wild. I am fortunate enough to be the half owner of a breeding pair & if all goes well their first clutch will be laid this year. Mark IsBell - GONE SNAKEE!
