Agreed. My guess is that it's because he was from a clutch of hypos. Genetically he's a normal half dwarf, no hets or anything. But I've noticed that the ones from hypo parents tend to be exceptional. That's just a guess though.

almost a hypo-sibling effect. The dwarf lineage lightens things up too, I should snap some pics of my full dwarf girl.

Agreed on the dwarf effecting the pattern. I love what the dwarf gene does in retics and in burmese! Great looking snake.
