Hey everyone. I had to take a hiatus from owning any snakes because I was moving around and just couldn't care for them. However I'm super happy to announce that my living situation has become quite permanent and has allowed me to acquire a really sweet new ball Ball Python. He hatched on sep. 6th and is about 18 inches/75 grams. He has been nothing but docile and I really enjoy him. I have him in an aquarium with a covered screen top and have had no problems keeping my humidity at around 65-80% with daily mistings and damp ecoearth substrate. with a hotspot of 88-90*. He has eaten once and shed perfectly in my care. Anyway without further adieu, here's Cordel.
Thanks! I do love boas, and wouldn't be surprised if one made an appearance in my collection very soon. I had a Colombian bci and it was an awesome snake.
Yeah I was really impressed by his coloration. I also love how he has almost perfect polka dots down his spine. He is so docile and and inquisitive. Never shown me any defensive behavior. I need to force myself not to over handle because he seemingly doesn't mind, but deep down I know he can't "enjoy" it.
