Is this accurate?

Skip to 12:07 in the video. Is this snake, Delilah, the biggest snake in captivity? at "26" feet long?

Everyone "knows" Medusa is the longest, I agree. But until people whip out a tape measure and measure her, Twinkie remains the "longest" in the books. Shes 25 feet, thats the current record, formerly owned by Fluffy.

Except Twinkie is only around 23 ft. There's a Medusa at a horror house in Kansas City that is in the Guiness Book of World Records at 25ft, but that doesn't mean anything since they've never been the most reliable source.

I would watch the video if it was posted right.

I can't see it either. Kyle, has Harrys Medusa been measured in the last 5 years? Any recent photos either? I can't find them.

Re: Is this accurate?

Fluffy was never really the record holder.

She was quoted as 24 foot but was only 20ft 1inch.

Twinkie is 20-22 feet at most.

Medusa at the horror house is less than 21 foot.

once again all the sizes are exagarated.

fragant flower at 22ft 9 inches and prony at 22 ft 9inches are the largest known in captivity and have been measured.

the largest i know of in the uk is in a private collection at 21ft 8inches and is larger than fluffy was and larger than both the medusas and twinkie.

theres a snake measuring app you can use and it confirms none of the previous mentioned snakes are anyway near 24,25 or even 26ft.

Guiness world records know nothing about snake sizes.

Recent photos? Kind of. Recently measured? Not that I'm aware of.
