Re: Worst shed EVER

I wouldn't worry about it. I never really have a problem in the shedding area either. Although every single shed I am sure to bath for 45 mins in warm water 1-2 days before shedding until he does shed in addition to misting the cage down. I feel it aids a lot in the loosening of the skin try it next time if you still have a problem

Re: Worst shed EVER

Simple; 80% isn't high enough during a shed cycle.

It can be used at the first signs of RI too. I discovered this stuff when I owned my shop. Sometimes the animals that came in weren't the healthiest and I refused to sell anything that was unhealthy, but I needed a super affordable way to help these guys out or else I wouldn't be able to turn profit.

Re: Worst shed EVER

Try raising ambient to 80, dropping the hotspot some, and feed smaller meals until the next shed.

Re: Worst shed EVER

dropping the hotspot they won't be able to digest meals as quickly, just a precaution.
