put a deposit on a 6' rtb today
got a month to bring him home (they say its a male. they also said it will only get 8" longer??)
would I be ok with a 55gal tank? I plan to make a top for it from wood and vinyl/plastic.
also, as we keep the house pretty cold im thinking of covering 3 sides in some type insulation material to keep in warmth.
also snakeshopdude says I dont really need to add any more humidity (keep in mind this is houston, tx. its normally humid here) except when the snake is in some stage of shedding, I forget when exactly.
thoughts?
will post a pic in a couple weeks when I make a pmt on him

Where are you going to put it I thought you had to hide it? Get radiant heat panels that will help alot

Got a big walkin closet I can lock. These heat panels go under the tank?if I went the plastic tub route where would they be placed? inside?

and I dont know that I gotta hide it. Prolly do it just in case
