My new pick ups

after waiting in line with my pregnant wife we were one of the first to get into the show. One of the first things to see was a tristis monitor but its tail was beat up quite badly so I had to turn that one down. My main goal was getting a uromastyx and after looking at all the uros I decided on this yellow.

Also picked up these fires skinks. What do you all think, keep them separate till the small ones bigger?

and a few odds and ends
valley garter

my wife and I won two fire belly toads

Re: My new pick ups

I don't know where to start. I like everything you got, that Skink and Uromastix looks like the ones I posted to be I.D. except yours looks alive! Lizards are rubbing off on me more and more. I really like crested geckos as well. The toads looks great, and I always enjoy seeing a garter. How did you win the toads? Someone on here, a MOD I believe has some really nice garters. I'd get a garter, but I don't want to have to provide a different diet from my other snakes. Cool pictures thanks for sharing.

Ive really been considering getting a Fire Skink as my one "non-snake" pet.

Re: My new pick ups

one of the vendors had a "wheel of prizes" and we had two tickets to spin it for free.

I wish it was Cb but it's not, it is an import. It's not perfect(missing two claws) but it eats and is lively, a good start to keeping Uro's none the less. The others I looked at were very skinny in the tail area and over all in worse condition.
