Re: Mixed bag
They are all beautiful snakes in their own right. But lets face it none of them hold a candle to Blue.

Re: Mixed bag
Part 3 - all from today. If you don't see it, it's moulting or too full to take out for an image. Enjoy
Boom-Boom - young adult Blood
Bubbles - sub-adult Blood
Wiley - Spotted python
Skyler, Tagz, Dusty and Mojo - Rainbow boa bonanza

Re: Mixed bag
Gorgeous looking as always... I really really need to get my hands on an adult blood. I am still trying to figure out if I want one/can be patient enough to own one.. lol

Re: Mixed bag
lol, they're not for everyone, that's for sure. Bubbles (for example) was OK to take out, snap a few shots, put in a spare tub and clean his own tub, but he was very *not* OK being picked up to be put back. We shared a couple of very tense moments where we had a battle of wills and as usual, he won

Re: Mixed bag
Haha that is great. I think I would be ok with that type of stuff I just have never held an adult and want to make sure I know 100% what I am getting into. Babies are easy to love but the adults can be brutal.

Well, I'll tell ya, this was no picnic, lol. He really *wanted* to nail me and it came awfully close a couple of times, but thankfully he opted to just buck and huff this time. They have very short fuses and I pushed his limit. He has the shortest fuse of the 3 Bloods and I'm lucky if I can get away with a full minute of handling him. It's *much* easier to sit on the floor with them and let them do their thing, but when you start handling them they can get quite stressed very quickly a lot of the time. They simply don't like being off the ground.
Oh, and they're going to get a whole lot bigger than what you're seeing of these two right now

Re: Mixed bag
*drool* must stop looking at your bloods lol. Just when I've decided to get a retic first, you have to post more pics of your animals that causes indecisiveness again. lol
Mojo really stands out from the others but seeing him against your colombians really brings out their beauty...such a difference!
