The deadline is July 24th, so that we can have the last week of July to vote.

We will hopefully keep to this sort of schedule from now on:
the first ~21 days of the month are for submitting photos
the last 7 days of the month are for voting & choosing the next theme (5 days for voting, 2 days for the winner to choose a theme)

Hopefully if we keep to this sort of schedule (as best we can), we'll be able to keep the photo contests going and moving more smoothly

I am bummed I missed the deadline by two days. I wouldn't have except that my SD card decided to reformat itself and I lost 509 of 631 photos. Oh well, I'll just have to wait till next month. This is the one I would have submitted, nothing special but somewhat patriotic:
