Re: Japanese Rat Snakes
Thanks all, Alessia I'll definitely get those belly pics in time, just have to let them settle in a little more.
They do kinda have a granite look to them don't they? Didn't even notice that, maybe now I won't have to get that granite carpet haha.
Godzilla might work out, but I'll have to see what else comes up before I decide.

Re: Japanese Rat Snakes
BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE Climacophora. I had an old boy a while back for a few years after his "retirement". Best guesses put him at around 22 years old when he passed.

Re: Japanese Rat Snakes
Holy Crap! 22 years old is good for a snake. My guys are only a year so it looks like I have a lot more time with these guys. I really like the striped ones too but I haven't seen any here in the states, all the ones I've seen have been in pictures from over seas.

I hadn't heard of striped ones! I got my guy back in 2007 as a LTC from the guy who had originally imported him "way back in the early 90's". I just thought he looked cool, and I got him for a great price because he was a retired breeder. Loved that old boy. I'll see if I can find some pictures of him.

hehe yea man, i would even go as far as saying exquisite taste lol. Lovely wee things they are like, good luck with them. I had a tiny baby in my hand but decided against it, kinda kicking myself now as its away now.
Though i do have something to take the pain away coming soon. Met a guy recently, actually the boy i got the racer off, who can get his hands on pretty much anything and he has some CB baby sulawesi mangroves coming next month. To say im excited is a bit of an understatement, been after some boiga sp for a long time...

Re: Japanese Rat Snakes
Here you go Alessia, I promised some belly pics. Here's a couple I got of my female, best I could get since she wanted to move around the whole time.
