Re: Question about cleaning enclosures?

i like the boxes of clear plastic powderless gloves for my random dirty, crappy (no pun intended) jobs. i use them all the time prepping food at work so i got a box and use those :P

I never said i used my bare hands i was just telling you too !!!! Really its not too bad if its had time to dry and i only use TP cause its better to flush than paper towels .. You will get it all figured out soon .. And i use a vinegar water solution to clean with , im not sure about bleach but i know vinegar doesnt bother them . Take them out of course and clean the let it air out for a few minutes before returning them home ...

Re: Question about cleaning enclosures?

I spot clean by hand if it is solid and use a metal serving spoon if it isnt (this spoon is obviously not used for anything else!!!)

Re: Question about cleaning enclosures?

i use newspaper as substrate

simply roll up the old paper and replace with new (after a quick wipe with dilluted disinfectant)

cheers shaun

I simply don't tell my wife that I used a serving spoon.

I don't measure it exactly but it is pretty diluted. I still wiped the enclosure down then rinse with water after. If I can smell bleach afterwards then it still needs to be rinsed more.
