thanks!! i feel i got an amazing deal on both of them.. the pastel was $200 and shes got some size, i need a scale so i dont know how big.. (they were selling babies for $150 or so for females)
and my pin was marked at $140, but i got him for $100, since i got the pastel from the same guy....
so $300 for both. feels good!
he offered me an albino male for $300, but i decided on these 2.

Re: Expo pick ups!!!!! :)
Not bad!! Unfortunately, I have to wait until fall for the next BC show , my patience is waning!!
But one of my buddies may end up producing some albino's and I KNOW he'll give me a good deal on a male!!
then it's just the pinstripe I need!!

Re: Expo pick ups!!!!! :)
well, I know a breeder out here who will sell me a pair of het Pied for $400, and I can probably gt him down to about $350.
But that is a future project, after hubby has built the BP rack system, individual vivs are taking too much room!! LOL
And his first project (starting next month) is to do a floor to ceiling, wall to wall cornsnake rack system!!

Ya, set up baby's room!! I had lots of fun setting up my son's room!!
It's not all for "keeper snakes", but I have to have room for babies too!! even if most are only temporary!! my current rack system would be packed full if I were to add one more adult sized tub!!, and that's only with 9 hatchling tubs!! Plus it looks like one of my breeder females is going to be prone to double clutching like she did this season, 17 eggs in the first clutch, and 14 in the second. I wasn't ready for the second clutch and all but 1 have died since being laid, but I'll be ready for it next time, so hopefully I won't lose as many!!

Re: Expo pick ups!!!!! :)
That's why hubby is doing floor to ceileing wall to wall, not so I can fill it, but because you never know!! I have my coral snow projects starting either next year or the one after, and I am trying to get the gene pool together for an Orchid project too. And who knows how many females will end up double clutching??, so having the room is a great idea, even if you have no intention on filling it all!!
