One thing that's neat about the LA zoo is this whole area where they explore caves. It's like being in a real cave, and you can crawl around and end up in other places in the display. The lighting is also horrible, so though we saw one tiny snake with no name, and a tarantula with no name, there displays were pretty scratched up and hard to even see, let alone take a photo of. Here is the look of the cave though



Here are some meerkats...that live next to the popcorn stand. Can you guess why they are out...begging??


Even though the meerkats beg, this was over by the seals, which makes no sense *lol*
