knowing the diverse range of species you work with Terry,can you not give us a little clue ?
especially for folk like me who only work with one species
some type of local specific boa perhaps ?

I'll bite...
Is it a boid at all? colubrids? or perhaps one of each?
You've ruled out "tree boas" so I'm assuming no arboreal boids.

Chironius sp? Pseustes sulphurus? Sibon nebulata? Drymarchon sp (cribos)?

They have two common names, one gives away their primary colour.
