Corn Snake Humidity Question
I finally got my corn snake today, pictures coming soon, but I totally forgot to buy a hydrometer. (Will buy one probably on tuesday) How much should I spray him each day until then? And for how long each time?

You dont have to worry about humidity with Corns. They do just fine.  Conghratulations on getting your Corn and yeah, I am looking forward to those pics.

No need at all, I've NEVER bathed or sprayed any of my corns and I've never had a bad shed. If you're using aspen it can actually cause mold to build.

Okay thanks. I saw that he had a little piece of stuck shed close to his eye. Should I give him a quick bath, or would that stress him out too much.

Leave him be... Corns are simple when it comes to humidity. If I notice mine going blue I might mist his cage 1-2 times the entire shed just because it is better safe than sorry but they do well in low humidity.

I have read a few pages on corn snake care that say, "leaving a water dish large enough for the snake to soak in will be enough to prevent bad sheds". I heard corns are pretty simple in regards to humidity.

as the others have said no need to worry about the humidity. All we do is add a damp hide when we notice the eyes clear from being cloudy and clear shed every time. Even then its only with a few of our corns we need to do this with as most do well enough without the damp hide.

Yup, I give mine humid hides when thier eyes go blue, and I get nice, one piece sheds every time!!
