Athena's first rat
Okay so before I was having issues with feeding. I don't think I was feeding the appropriate sized meal. So I took the advise and stepped Athena up to rats. I was feeding 1 medium and 1 small mouse every 7 days, (11 grams, 7.5 grams). I am now going to start feeding pup rats they are around the 30 gram mark plus/minus. She just pooped and I weighed her at 294 grams. I got her in october and her paper said she was approximately 6 months old so I put her in around 9 months to a year. She is about under or around 30 inches. So is she average? Here is some pics of her first rat. Didn't have to sent it or anything, she struck and hugged perfectly. So proud...

Re: Athena's first rat
Nice! Looks like an appropriate size for her. She's a similar size to mine who is about the same age.

That's good to hear. I kinda got a little nervous thinking I had stunted her growth. So I looked up what I could and found that around 3 feet at her age seemed to be the norm for my research. I just want to make sure that I am doing right by her. I want her to reach her potential. For her and me, I can't lie I am looking forward to a nice big beautiful boa...
