Snake House

While I was away from the forum the past few years I have moved the snakes out of the house. My was the happiest person in the world (next to myself)

Re: Snake House

I love it but then again I would never leave the Snake house and be in my real house.

I think I am going to build vivs into the walls of my new house so that I can have a few in each room..lol

Re: Snake House

That's freakin' awesome!

Kat, I'm with you. I'd have a little bedroom in there with mine. But I'm so used to me sleeping in their room (notice I said their room since my animals take up 3/4 of my bedroom lol) I'd either get lonely or extremely worried about them and have to make midnight walks to the snake house. I love the fact that they're the first thing I see when I wake up and the last thing I look at when I go to sleep. Plus on sleepless nights I'll take one out to hold for a while. It's soothing to me.

Re: Snake House

That is really cool, Shane! My fiance and I want to have an auxiliary building like that for our snakes when we move to a bigger house with some land.

Its a 12x16, I wanted to go 16 x 20, but my back yard is small, and the HOA said it could not take up more than 30% of the back yard. Since I didnt want to cause any waves, I settled for this. I am kind of glad since I do not have this near full, and its more than I care to handle at time. Thus the reason I will be selling off some projects this season. I started with my NC Stock Black Rats. The FLa King projects will be next.
