Kado the Alexandrine Parrot
I got these pics of Kado today after his bath and thought people might get a kick out of them. He loves a good soaking spray bath and he loves being blow dried after even better!
He was rescued from a lady whose husband hated Kado so much that he demanded he be kept outside on the porch as soon as it was light out. Needless to say (remember I'm in Canada), when I saw him like that I offered to take him immediately and he's been my baby ever since (about 5 years now). Our business puts us on private job sites almost every day, often when people are moving, so I constantly have the opportunity to take home pets. I keep my hands firmly in my pockets...usually.
Forgive the bathroom, we're renoing and half the house is a disaster area! The girl using the drier is my step-daughter and I'm behind the camera.

Re: Kado the Alexandrine Parrot
Haha that is great. I wish my Conure would let me blow dry him. He prefers to try and snuggle in my shirt to dry off.
Kado is beautiful!

Re: Kado the Alexandrine Parrot
Thanks everyone, he is a total sweetheart and we love him to bits. People can't believe it's him when he talks, he has a high child-like voice, clear as a bell so you know exactly what he's saying. Between parrots and snakes, I'm content!
