Ackie vs tristis

I am moving soon and took apart my cages. Put my "dwarfs" in smaller tubs. Can me a chance to show my male ackie vs my largest tristis which I thought was pretty cool. You rarely see the two side by side. No they are no kept together incase anyone is wondering. Also a few pics of some recently hatched ackies.

Re: Ackie vs tristis

Ackies are my dream lizard! Once I move I am building a set up and hopeful to find a pretty red. Yours are beautiful, thanks for sharing!

Jamie, from what I have been reading they get to be about 14-18" long nose to tail. For 1 ackie a 4x2x2 is ok but bigger is better. I am planning on building a 6'L x 2'D x3'H for my 1.

Re: Ackie vs tristis

Thanks guys-they are a blast. My croc monitors normally get all talk and pics but my dwarfs are by far the easiest and most fun.

I havent decided to sell any monitor yet. They are really fragile for the first month or two. I also have 2 others they are 4 & 6 months old I think.

2 GTPs and a mix of hognoses
