Oh yeah!! along thier jaws and necks it is very common. Thier spots can take on a pinkish, yellowish or greenish hue.

7 is still young!! my 5 yr old male is 4.5' and 600 and somthing grams. He eats xl jumbo mice or rat hopper or sm weanling. he likes the occasional rabbit pinkie too!!

I think my dad buddy is feeding him 1 jumbo mouse every 12 or 13 days he's eating f/t witch I don't like cause I can't keep frozen rodents in my frezzer hope freshly kill would work

dead and warm is dead and warm, I wouldn't worry too much. I have had to switch 2 live feeders to F/T and did not have any problems at all. Corns are not picky eaters. Mine eat fresh killed or F/T mice, rats and rabbit pinks.
