Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!
Nope, each snake has it's own cycle. As babies they shed more often than as adults. You'll eventually pick up when she's due for a shed again.

Ok so as of right now the only times i can not handle her is at night ( when she sleeps) 36-48hours after she eats and during shed period??

Just confirmed with my book about corn snakes I have and with a bunch of websites about corn snakes... the majority say that corn snake are primarily diurnal...

Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!
Also I thought that the round pupils are an indicator of a diurnal animal versus the slit pupils of nocturnal animals?

Re: First time snake owner, looking for help!
My snake is up night and day.. I handle him when I want to minus the 48 hrs after he eats. If he is in his hide I take him out. He could care less....
