'twas a joke, look at my avatar! I'll stay in NH, I dont know if i could go back to paying sales tax on every day things..

I went down to MA to visit the family over christmas and i stopped at a store to grab an energy drink (listed at $1.99) i handed the lady two $1 bills and she gave me a weird look and i was like "what? it's $2!"

I didn't have any other cash on me (left wallet in the car) so i just said screw it and left.

Re: Help with Cass urgent

Contrary to what some people may believe, New York is a big state, that cesspool of a city is very very far away from where I live, let's just say if the rotten apple got nuked, I wouldn't even need a fallout shelter.

I live in the red area.

Not to sidetrack the thread though.

wow Brady that's awful! I'm glad you're figuring things out. Keep your chin up and you'll figure things out for Castiel. I'd start calling apartment complexes asap to see which will allow you to bring Cass... Because of the size and the amount of dirt in the enclosure, I'm assuming you'd want a ground floor apartment? Best of luck and keep us posted please!

Oh most definitely, New york state is very pretty in some places, new york city on the other hand....

my girlfriend is from matamoras, PA (that little corner of PA that touches NJ and NY) and so I've traveled through NY a lot before we moved in together

Re: Help with Cass urgent

i know this is a stupid question but do most apartments allow reptiles? Im thinking it would be a lot harder to find one that would allow a sav versus a leopard gecko. Does allowing reptiles make the rent go up?

Re: Help with Cass urgent

Some apartments will allow reptiles with no extra money, some forbid them.

Re: Help with Cass urgent

I've seen apartments go one of two ways: Either they have a ban on all exotics (all reptiles, hamsters, girbils, birds, etc), or they allow caged animals with no fee.

Re: Help with Cass urgent

my apartment says "no caged animals" I clarified it with the question "anything that could be kept in an aquarium is ok, right?" and the answer was yes. So in my defense, snakes can be kept in an aquarium so they're ok. The did specify no rodents however.

Do rodents in the freezer count?

I don't think so. Actually I am pretty sure live rodents can't count so I don't see how a frozen one would be able to count.
