Re: Help with Cass urgent

Do you have any friends with a large vehicle? 2 hours isnt that far of a drive to borrow a friends van or something and fill their tank as a thanks, i'd help you out but i think im a bit farther from your dads than you are xD

you could also rent a van for the day, which for a 2 hour trip (4 total) would be upwards of $200 including gas (hence borrowing someones car or something)

time to invest in a bed cover?

Thats why vans make more sense than trucks in certain applications.. but vans look silly! xD

I hope you can sort it out though, im assuming your mom is like mine and if she ever kicked me out (i dont live there but still if she did) all reason would go out the window so no "i need to find a safe way to move my pet" argument

Re: Help with Cass urgent

You can move the enclosure in the back and keep him in the cab with you. Just make sure to minimize the stress by keeping him warm, and covered in whatever container you take him in. He is small so you could put a bunch of his dirt in a sturdy box, which will keep the humidity up for the short drive. Make sure the box is escape proof, but still has some air transfer. It will be dark in there and confined so he should feel safe, and for a couple hours he will be fine with the humidity, just make sure to keep the heat up to about 80 in the cab of the truck.

Re: Help with Cass urgent

get a non-see through plastic tub from walmart or wherever that is just big enough for some dirt and him and some straps of some sort to secure the lid. Drill some holes so he can breath, and like Jarich said, keep him in the cab with you while the enclosure rides in back.

Keep your head about you. You'll want to empty the substrate into buckets if you can't lift the enclosure with it inside. He will be fine for the move. Just drive safely and have a plan.

Re: Help with Cass urgent

My mom flipped out on me, it's a long story! She borrowed 1000 dollars from me to go on a trip and they say I do nothing for them. And I called her a liar today and it triggered something! I'm getting an appartment a couple weeks.. But I wanted to make sure I could stay for a couple more weeks... To benefit castiel
